What's improved

    Figma

  • We've added Components Variants to the Plaster library. Now you can use the Assets panel in a much more organized way, pick a component, and switch between variant while staying focused on canvas.
  • We've reorganized the library into a single file, removing unused instances and older connection with other libraries.
  • We've fixed paddings for iOS components to stay aligned to the 4-pt grid.

  • We've added Color Variables to the Plaster libraries. Now your colors are more secured than ever.
  • We've updated Plaster with the latest 69+ compatibility. Now you can easily access any symbol from the Components Panel. Use shortcut: CMD+1 or CMD+2 to switch between the new panel and canvas quickly.

Plaster v.2.2

What's improved

  • We've fixed the issue with Inter font. Now Plaster relays on Figma app pre-installed fonts, so you should be able to use Plaster without installing any additional fonts, but be sure to update your Figma app to the latest version first.
  • We've updated the Text Styles to match the latest Figma version, so now they display fonts values, e.g., size and line-height.
  • Figma files now include a single file - Plaster, containing both Components and UI Kit screens, so you don't need to have a Pro Figma account to use them at the same time.

What's improved

  • We've updated our Style Guide and Get Started sections with the new Grayscale colors. We added more colors to ensure your designs can now cover a larger number of design elements. We also updated styles naming, so it should be easier to select colors from the Styles menus.
  • We've fixed a bug with shadows styles, which made them appear unclear when applied to groups.
  • We've updated components State styles and removed unused layers.
  • We've added embedded fonts support. The embedding fonts feature now makes it easier to share Frames with others and ensure that text layers render accurately.
  • We've updated Frames with the latest 67+ compatibility.

What's improved

  • We've added the Figma version - Hooray! New Figma files include all the best stuff, including auto-updatable styles, dark and light themes, responsive components, and plugin integration. We didn't just import files. Instead, we built elements from the ground with best practices, team features, and auto-layout.
  • We've updated the Sketch version with the latest 67+ compatibility.
  • We've fixed tons of bugs while preparing the Figma version. Now you should have a smoother experience working with groups, layers, and symbols in Sketch. We also made an update to components naming fixing smaller inconsistencies.
  • We've regrouped components, moving things like Step Dots, Badges, and Progress to Resources folder. We also refined the Symbols page, fixing offset elements and padding issues.
  • Updated and added 2 new Android Notification components.
  • And, we are glad to present you the new Website!

What's improved

  • In this update, we focused on expanding the Plaster customization capabilities. So now, you can easily switch between light and dark themes, as well as make your color themes and apply them via Camilo plugin.
  • We've have updated the file structure, adding new themes files and dark versions for UI Kit, Style Guide, and Components files.
  • We've polished all contents and updated it with Smart Layouts, as well as made a compatibility update to fit into the latest HIG and Material guidelines.
  • We've added 15 new app templates, as well as updated the previous ones with more details and better resize options.
  • We've added over 100 new components, including iPhone X Bars, Modal View's, Cards, Widgets, and new icons. We also updated menus, bars, and cards for the Android section.
  • Plaster now uses Inter font as it's core font.

  • We've removed unused groups, layers and ensured that Plaster runs smoothly with Sketch 65+.
